Nov. 3, 2026 – President Donald Trump delivered an Election Day push for Bernadette Wilson, renewing his endorsement of the Republican candidate for Alaska governor and calling on Republicans to unite behind her.
“Bernadette Wilson is outstanding. She will make a GREAT Governor, and is a FANTASTIC choice to replace my friend, Governor Mike Dunleavy,” Trump wrote.
“Now is the time for all Republicans to unite behind Bernadette to ensure she has a tremendous Victory in November!”
The Tuesday message reinforced the president’s previous support for her as Alaskans headed to the polls. It followed an election-eve tele-rally with Alaska supporters, during which Trump urged voters to support Sen. Dan S. Sullivan, Congressman Nick Begich, and Wilson.
Wilson is also endorsed by Congressman Begich, Gov. Sarah Huckabee-Sanders, Sen. Marsha Blackburn, and Congressman Byron Donalds, who is running for governor in Florida.
“Vote also for Nick Begich for Congress and rank Bernadette Wilson number one for governor,” Trump said during Monday’s tele-rally call, as previously reported by The Alaska Story.
In his Election Day statement, Trump paired praise for Wilson with sharp criticism of Democratic candidate Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins, whom he called “Reckless, Radical, and Dangerous!”
Trump accused Kreiss-Tomkins of supporting large tax increases, open borders, biological males competing in women’s sports, and gender-transition procedures for children.
Trump described Wilson as a candidate who would advance an agenda centered on economic growth, energy development, lower taxes, and fewer regulations.
He said she would work to “Grow the Economy, Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Cut Taxes and Regulations,” while promoting American manufacturing.
The president also highlighted border security, law enforcement, military and veterans support, election safeguards, and Second Amendment protections among the priorities he said Wilson would pursue.
The message renewed his appeal for Republican unity in the closing hours of the election and ended with an emphatic turnout call:
“Bernadette Wilson has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Governor of the Great State of Alaska. GET OUT AND VOTE FOR BERNADETTE — SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”
