Sept. 2, 2026 -Dave Bronson and Josh Church have broken another commitment to Alaska Republicans.
When the Bronson-Church ticket received the endorsement of Republican District 9, he agreed in writing not to disparage other Republicans in the governor’s race.
They accepted that condition.
Now, emails and text messages obtained by The Alaska Story show the Bronson camp continuing to target Bernadette Wilson, the leading Republican candidate, even as Bronson insists publicly that he is not behind attacks against her.
It is the second significant commitment Bronson has made to a Republican district and then broken.
The first involved his promise to withdraw if he was not the leading Republican coming out of the Aug. 18 primary. Bronson finished behind Wilson but refused to withdraw. He remains on the November ballot with Church as his running mate.
Now the Bronson-Church ticket is breaking its pledge not to badmouth another Republican. The disparaging of Wilson has gotten to the point of obsession.
The latest evidence comes from an extraordinary email exchange between Josh Church and Jim Minnery, president of Alaska Family Council. The exchange followed a meeting involving Josh Church, Dave Bronson, campaign adviser Alexis Johnson and Jim Minnery. The Alaska Story has obtained a copy of the email exchange.
According to Minnery, what was supposed to be a discussion about the Republican race turned into what he described as a “relentless personal attack” on Wilson.
“You and Dave and Alexis (Johnson) turned it into a relentless personal attack on Bernadette claiming you were the ‘morally superior’ candidates and that AFC should get behind your team,” Minnery wrote to Church.
Minnery said Bronson and Church repeatedly questioned Wilson’s accomplishments and attacked her character. He reminded them that Wilson had helped elect Bronson as Anchorage mayor, helped elect Nick Begich to Congress, and led the campaign for Ballot Measure 2, the parental-notification initiative approved by 68% of Alaska voters in 2010.
Church defended the Bronson-Church ticket by saying Minnery had asked for the campaign’s political counsel.
“When we raised documented concerns about a candidate’s character, competence, and business record in response to your request for counsel, you dismissed them as personal attacks,” Church wrote.
That sentence is key: Josh Church admitted he and Bronson have engaged in character assassination.
To review: The Bronson-Church ticket agreed, as a condition of receiving Republican District 9’s endorsement, not to disparage other Republicans. Yet Church now acknowledges that the campaign made allegations about Wilson’s character and business record during a meeting with the leader of an influential Christian public-policy organization.
Church also copied local pastors with the email, bringing them into the dispute, including Mark Zweifel of True North Church and Derek Dickinson of Journey Christian Church. That had the effect of drawing pastors into what had become an bitter political fight between an also-ran candidate for lieutenant governor and a prominent Christian leader, Jim Minnery.
The original email from Josh Church was anything but mild. He demanded that Alaska Family Council cancel his recurring donations and refund his previous contributions. He accused Minnery of practicing “partisan advocacy disguised as a biblical ministry” and called him a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
Minnery responded by calling out what he saw as the hypocrisy of the Bronson campaign.
“Despite you and Dave telling people you are not connected to public attacks on Bernadette — you certainly do it quite well in private settings — the Bronson/Church Team is intimately connected in that your political consultant you are using, Axiom Strategies, is leading the negative assaults on her,” Minnery wrote.
The Alaska Story has documentation to back up that assertion.
Church denied that hiring an Axiom consultant made the campaign responsible for every action taken by that firm, its employees or its other clients or subcontractors. He challenged Minnery to provide evidence that Bronson or Church had authorized or coordinated the attacks.
That is the word game now being played.
Bronson can say he did not personally authorize a particular blog post by a writer who has hated Bernadette Wilson for years. Church can say he and Bronson did not direct a particular consultant to release a particular allegation. But those narrow denials do not address what members of the ticket themselves are also saying in meetings, emails, and text messages, some of which The Alaska Story has in its files, as they were forwarded by recipients.
The Alaska Story has obtained several copies of text messages Church has sent disparaging Wilson. Others who have attended political meetings say conversations were recorded and messages are being preserved. The Bronson camp may believe its attacks are private, but they are circulating well beyond the rooms where they began.
The pattern is becoming difficult to deny. The Bronson ticket has broken promises made to Republicans from whom they sought support.
The attacks are also notably one-directional. The Bronson-Church ticket is not directing this energy toward Democrat Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins, the top vote-getter in the primary. It is directing its fire toward Wilson, the Republican with the best opportunity to defeat JKT.
This is the same Republican circular firing squad that conservative leaders have warned about since the primary. Minnery said Alaska Family Council intends to remain neutral precisely because continued attacks among Republicans could help Kreiss-Tomkins and his allies take control of state government.
Many Republicans are believing they need to “rank the red.” But the Bronson campaign is messaging the opposite — they do not care if Bernadette Wilson gets a second vote from their supporters. They only want her crushed.
Rank the Red asks Republican voters to support every Republican on the ballot, and yet it rings hollow when a Republican ticket stays on the ballot after promising to step aside, then works behind the scenes to damage the Republican who finished ahead of it.
Voters are entitled to judge candidates not only by the promises they make, but by whether they keep them.
For the Bronson-Church ticket, two broken commitments are becoming a pattern. It’s also looking like a sickness.
Why President Trump should endorse Bernadette Wilson for governor of Alaska

This is why we can’t have nice things.
With a friend like you, Bernadette doesn’t need to trash anybody, privately or publicly. You’ve done her dirty work from day 1.
And I’m sorry, but this “we raised documented concerns about a candidate’s character, competence, and business record” is not character assassination, it’s the expression of a legitimate concern many Republicans have had regarding Bernadette, but no one has been willing to take an honest look at her before electing her to the highest position in the state.
You do no one any favors in publishing this trash, Suzanne, except for the cackling cat ladies running Bernadette’s Mean Girls Club while she keeps herself squeaky clean for the public eye.
If Bernadette can’t handle some scrutiny over her finances and personal history, she probably shouldn’t have entered the governor’s race.
You are the one intent upon character assassination and everyone can see it.
As the witness in George Zimmerman’s trial said, “That’s real retarded, sir.”
Suzanne was pumping up Treg, plainly and clearly.
So NotAnymore, are you a bot or a troll?
That’s hilarious.
Bernadette’s afraid of something, or Suzanne wouldn’t have come out swinging.
Yes sir. Bernadette’s afraid
Bronson is working overtime to deliver Alaska our first openly LGBTQ fag governor. Way to go, Dave.
The picture of the male looks like Bill Walker, not Bronson.
Ouch! Mistaking Bronson for Bill Walker is offensive …….to Bronson.
NotAnymore;
Strongly disagree. I voted for Dave, but I will not even rank him in the general election. The bottom of the 9th is over. Last quarter has been played out. 0:00 time left on the clock. Bernadette won. That’s it, Dave. Step aside. All you are doing at this point is helping queer boy and pissing the rest of us off.
Agree!
Bronson’s idiocy is coming on full tilt. Now we know why he got beat up so bad as Anchorage mayor then lost re-election. He doesn’t know how to deal with people. He’s a dinosaur still at old school. The Democrats are LMFAO at him and Church.
It is always heartening to get it somewhat right. While I noted that Bronson was gonna become Sarah Palin a couple articles ago, I completely missed Josh Church becoming Nixon’s attack dog, Spiro Agnew. VPs (and apparently LtGov candidates today) have historically been the campaign attack dogs. The interesting part of all this is that Agnew was sufficiently scary (or corrupt) that democrats took him out first before they went after Nixon. Somehow I don’t think Church will fare any better in this election cycle or be any better remembered than Agnew afterwards. Cheers –
Say what you want about Agnew, but remember that he cast the deciding ballot on July 17, 1973 which gave Alaska the Trans Alaska Pipeline.
I think Alaska should erect a monument to Agnew!
Dave Bronson is a stand-up man for this fallen world! He defeated 13 of the 17 other candidates in the race, showing his wide appeal. He is a tough fighter for what we believe in, and what Alaska must be during the coming end days. I have faith that, when we all settle down and listen to our hearts, that everyone here can finally pray for this good, rugged Christian man and cast one true, singular, beautiful vote for Dave Bronson and his godly partner Josh Church!
That sounds g– as f—, man
Secular Democrat Itty Bitty, go and give your faggot candidate our sympathies. It will be a cold day in hell before your bald-headed butt-banger buddy preaches homosexuality to conservative families in Alaska. The campaign against him is just starting. Go get therapy.
On top of all that Bronson and church won’t put up with the foo foo from Wilson. They’ll beat her ticket by a long shot!!
Cracks me up to see everyone beating up Bronson for broken promises. Look at Bernadette’s past decision making. It’s not solid. She birthed offspring with a far left wing lib. Not sure how you all can support that. Vote Dave number 1. Bernie 2 if you can morally vote for her. That is still up in the air for me.
Birthed offspring? Are you speaking of her like a prize cow? That’s really beneath the dignity of anyone I would take seriously, Sport.
Haha, this is classic. Not one person has commented on my posts with anything meaningful. Just yell at me for saying something wrong. So let me state it this way. Bernadette Wilson has a child with Chris Tuck. Tamra, is there no part of you that sees that as a red flag? Answer that question legitimately and maybe we can have a civil conversation. But I am guessing you won’t answer it or you’ll attack me.
No, I don’t see it as a red flag. Since when do we attack people’s spouses or kids? I do not believe that choice of spouse is any of your business, and it certainly isn’t mine. I assume you are pure as the driven snow when it comes to every life choice you have ever made, right up until this post, or you would not have a rock to stand on when criticizing Bernadette for her “birthed offspring.”
OTOH, Birthed Offspring is a much more positive lifestyle choice than termination of a viable cell mass. At least the kiddos are considered (somewhat) human. Cheers –
Is it your opinion that 2 men should be able to wed? I assume your comment about choice of spouse goes for JKT also? Or you oppose the gay spouses? Just want to understand your logic. It’s a red flag. It’s why we have so many RINOs. People talk a certain way but live differently behind closed doors. We just see it differently, that’s all. I’ll vote her #3 just to make you all happy.
J:
Because if you are bringing up an issue that is meant to embarrass Bernadette about a romantic choice she made years ago, the embarrassment is on you. Who has not made a bad choice at some point in their life? That’s her business and you have not presented an argument about why that matters in governing.
The goal is to defeat JKT and his lifestyle, which does affect governing. Do you want homosexuality running rampant in our public schools? An LGBTQ agenda governing your life? Quite beating on Bernadette’s romantic choice in her past. This is not a lifestyle issue.
J:
You are cruel!
Why? Explain. I am hear to listen. Believe it or not I was full on Bernadette. Then I did a little digging and got weirded out. But I will still rank the red even though earlier I said no. But an explanation about being cruel would be nice.
Thank you J. Hold your end up and Rank the Red. Despite the three candidates shortcomings or what we think are shortcomings or their personal vendettas and weakness.
Wilson, Bronson, and English/Mr and Mrs Treg Taylor really aren’t that bad, I’m looking at it as God is giving us Alaskan Republicans one last chance to take one last stand before He Allows if he allows a Democrat Governor in Jan2027. It could be worse we could be looking at Bishop, Heilala\Sumnar, and McGuire/Rasmussen, and then there be JKT. Basically having four Democrats.
The best unity action for us to take is Rank the three in the order they came. Wilson 1, Bronson2, and English/Taylors 3 and do not rank JKT else he gets one’s vote even if it’s fourth.
J, let’s get meaningful. Firstly, I would ask you admit your cowardice shown by withholding your name. I, on the other hand, will accept personal responsibility for my comments. As to Wilson having a child with Tuck, I don’t know the facts of that matter but I can say, in this current era, most women who become pregnant out of wedlock will murder their child. That is, they will double-down on a bad choice with an horrific choice. Not Wilson however. She dealt with the circumstance in a manner that shows moral integrity. It’s the opposite of a red flag; its a flag of redemption. People change and grow. Neither you nor I are the same as we once were. That also applies to Wilson. Let’s thank YHWH for that. To beat the communists we must bind together. Wilson got the most primary votes. She deserves our 1st rank votes.
I voted for Shelly Hughes. Bronson has become a joke. Church needs to get away from Bronson with his rep intact. Drop out, endorse Wilson.
Agree with Mike States. Bronson is becoming toxic. Get out of the way, Dave. You should support your fellow Republican. She beat you. But you are trashing her instead, like sour grapes. Everyone will end up hating you, not just the liberals of Anchorage.
Hughes is an even larger joke, especially after she worked to undermine Allard
MiGOSH!!
And we Still need to Rank Bronson number 2 but for Wilson and Shower by majority we need to rank them One.
Bronson can complain against Wilson as much as he wants but she needs to be ranked #1 and him #2.
Sounds to me like Sue Downing and Jim Minnery are in way over their heads in this battle. You both need to pull back and honor your respective roles as a ministry leader and news editor. YOU ARE NOT KINGMAKERS Here !! BACKOFF AND LET THIS RACE RUN ITS COURSE !! I know Dave personally and think very highly of him. I don’t know Josh, but a close friend who has known the Church family for many (60+) years spoke very highly of them. I don’t know Bernadette but I know of her and she most certainly will get my second choice vote. BUT she will not be my first choice for the simple fact that SHE HAS ZERO EXPERIENCE AS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL !! And I think that is a necessity in order to best govern the state of Alaska!!
Amen.
Mr. Slone,
Oh yeah. Bronson had experience as an elected official. And how did that go? The most contentious mayorship in Anchorage history. Total effing chaos. Bronson doesn’t know how to deal with people. And he’s an old white guy. That doesn’t work today. Does Bronson have any experience as a business owner? Nilch. Nada. Zip. I’ll be voting for Bernadette in case you haven’t figured that out already. And not ranking Bronson, the would be spoiler.
You say, she doesn’t have the experiences an elected Official, well, I remember that unfortunately Bronson got “mowed down” by the Anchorage Assembly.. He didn’t/couldn’t stand up to the Anchorage Assembly….He couldn’t get anything through.. We have the same type of people in the House and the Senate.. He’d get thrown to the wolves. At least Bernadette stood up to the Anchorage Assembly and told them off.. fighting for us..Besides, He agreed with the terms of dropping out if he didn’t make it.. and NOW he has a chance to split the ticket, and put a Democrat into office.. which is what we CANNOT HAVE and we’ll loose our PFD in the end.
John H Slone, “experience as a elected official” is a logical fallacy. In reality, it is one’s ability to work with people to make compromises and accomplish goals to the greatest extent possible that matters. Examples are Trump and Hickel. Experience in the crucible of the private sector is far better training than a career in government or politics. We don’t need people gaining their credentials as politicians; rather, we need them to bring solid, real-world, credentials into the political sphere. I’m guessing you are, or were, a career government bureaucrat.
The never ending primary. Our second place finisher attacking (by proxy and privately) our first place finisher. Various districts announcing endorsements. THE PRIMARY IS OVER! We have two conservatives left standing. Their opponent is a far left Democrat, Mr. Initials. Why is he bad for Alaska? What is his record? Why does a major tech company think he’s the guy? What is his business and who are his clients? What does he stand for? C’mon man, this is who we run against and sixty days will go by so quick you’ll regret every second not spent on the real opponent. Oh and, RANK THE RED.
No, Tom Begich ENDORSED JKT. Hardly an attack.
I plan to vote for Dave Bronson as #1 and Bernadette Wilson as #2.
But I would certainly hope that both Bronson and Wilson would have the sense, and concern for Alaska to repeatedly say that people must vote for the other one as their #2 pick (even if they are not fond of each other). It would be insane not to do that.
It’s an insane world, Randy. And we will most likely get a QC for governor in November (Queer Commie).
Thomas Griffin, you say “its an insane world.” True, but it is more accurate to say humanity is corrupt at its core. If conservative voters too dim to use rank choice voting to their advantage by cooperating with each other then they deserve to lose. That is, conservatives will be choosing communism.
Randy don’t forget rank third English/Mrs Treg Taylor
We were forced into ranking the red by the poor choice of AKGOP leaders
I’d feel much better if by majority Republicans ranked in the same order as our R candidates came.
Somebody needs to have a sit down talk with Bronson, Church, English, And Mr and Mrs Treg Taylor they need to start playing as a Team even though RCV makes it a crowded race. Getting the voters to mix up the Order of rank will not bring us any Republican Governor.
To be honest I rather Wilson, Bronson, or the English/Taylors Than JKT and the Democrats.
My issue with Bronson is the same issue I had with him as Mayor. He does not work with people. He dictates, and then can’t figure out why nobody wants to get along with him. It shows a lack of judgment to spread malicious garbage, even if the thinks he is doing so in private, in a hotly contested race. Everything gets leaked, eventually. It also shows that he is self-serving; makes no sense to run against the high vote getter in your own party and expect to beat her. I’m sure it bruises his ego to know a woman got more votes than he did, but that is not a logical reason to split the ticket and get a far-left homosexual elected. It probably galls him that some little homosexual is beating him as well, and badly. Tine to quit acting like you did on the playground and start being an adult. but it doesn’t appear Bronson is ready to do so.
Tamra,
If the little queer feller from Sitka gets elected by all of his LGBTQ followers in the Democrat Party, then you can only blame one person……Dave Bronson.
Larry and others Just because our Republican leaders aren’t united doesn’t mean us sheep can’t be united in the order of ranking red candidates in attempt to keep the Governors office away from Democrats for four more years.
Wilson, Bronson, and English and the Taylors are still us. They will face the same setbacks as the rest of us by having a Democrat governor and Democrat controlled legislature
Suzanne, if you’ve read the comments, articles like this are encouraging more people to not rank all the red than Bronson and Church expressing legitimate concerns about a candidate. Please take a breath. We love and support you, but reporting like this could help JKT win. I know Bernadette is your friend, but please take a look at the big picture.
What do folks think of Candice English?
She looks really creepy
Treg Taylor picked her. And he is a Republican. He has his flaws just as Wilson and Bronson but he still a Republican. We rank her third out of respect in Treg Taylor’s choice as his running mate.
Her wealth and the Taylor’s wealth is just as vulnerable to decline underJKT and Democrat policies and budget and proposed taxes as any Alaskan living paycheck to paycheck.
I’d hope by majority Republicans ranked the three Wilson 1, Bronson 2, and English/Mrs Treg Taylor 3. But just as long as all three are ranked and do not rank JKT else he gets a position vote.
Suzanne Downing and Jim Minnery, you are making trouble. Your statements are more damaging and the mistrust you are sowing will do more damage than any of the candidates can possibly do.
Strongly disagree. Suzanne is trying to sow the seeds of reason and sanity into this governor’s race. You Dave Bronson supporters are going to have to reckon with your loss. Each day Bronson fights his own party only weakens our chances to keep a radical homosexual socialist out of the governor’s office. Do you want JKT telling you how you are going to live and raise your kids and grandkids? That’s what you are going to get if you keep fracturing the top of the Republican ticket. You better think hard. This is a life altering election for conservatives and Dave Bronson is not going to be the next governor.
Hear, hear!!!
I don’t have a problem with Bronson. I don’t have a problem with Wilson. I don’t have a problem any of the R candidates except for maybe the Clicker…… I have a major problem with not uniting behind one single candidate.
No worries. The clicker is long gone. And he ain’t ever coming back.
Minnery’s mistake was talking to the second runner ups Bronson/Church or English/Mrs Treg Taylor’s instead of focusing on the Wilson/Shower ticket to keep the focus on seeing they are ranked First, and Bronson is ranked second and English/Mrs Treg Taylor are ranked third.
I’m sorry for Minnery and Alaska Family Council got caught in the middle of a fight putting him and Alaska Family Council in the political situation of looking like they are taking sides.
Next time he has Wilson/Shower some rules beforehand likely will be laid out to encourage voter unity instead of Bronson supporters getting defensive to defend their favorite or Wilson’s supporters getting defensive and defending her.
If Voters can’t agree to be unified in the order of our ranking the red (Wilson1, Bronsom2, English 3 and no fourth choice. we are going to lose and JKT will have the most votes or there be a runoff between the first and second place finishes because of not making the 51plus1 percent victory.
It’s obvious that a number of these commenters are on the verge of coming out of the closet. That’s some pent up curiosity on display. We can only assume most have Grindr accounts. They might want to head down to Dallas for that midterm convention next week. No doubt plenty of action for them.
No, not at all. They see the costs for accepting sexual deviance and are repulsed. The party is over. It all should be regulated to the shadows and if someone succumbs to this awful way to treat themselves and those around them it ought to be spoken against and looked upon as a great tragedy- as it is.
You seem to know a lot about his subject. Are you ensnared in this? Have you given your life over to this tragedy?
There is a way back. There is hope.
Conversion therapy. But it’s too late for most because the erection is only 60 days away.
I thought the erection is ongoing.🤣
To both Alvin and Android, the first rule of comedy: the joke must actually be funny.
Wayne, don’t get your knickers in a twixt over a simple spelling error. I found it humorous. Which is exactly what we need right now.
You should learn how to mind your own business.
You seem nice.
It’s just deep level of racism, contempt; and hatred from them. Their very strong loud opinion against people struggling with homosexuality I am more concerned if they have children listening to their parent rail against Homosexuality. Because you know those of us who were listening to Andrew Grey before he was a legislator when he spoke before the Anchorage assembly told how his mother hung a bible verse that loudly condemned homosexuality and his father and mother telling none of their children will be homosexuals from their house.
I think in Grey’s household the constant talk of it influenced him to think about it over n over again all awhile internally struggling with his sexuality.
Just like a lot of leftists raised up children grown into teens and young adults who struggle with homosexuality
And I think the same thing that happened to Grey their parents like Alyse galvin talked so much about it
Basically grooming their kids toward it whether or not their child had any struggle with it
I had planned on ranking the red, but this depiction of male on female violence makes me want to vote Bronson and not rank any others.
We have no choice to play the Rank Red. You have to rank. Do not be one of the few thousands who only voted one Republican before exhausting. We need to at least try. though. I’m doubtful a lack of unity in the order of rank position may prove fruitless. But. Either Wilson, Bronson, or English will be better for us non Democrats than Democrats in the Governors office plus having senate and house majorities.
I think a lot of people are missing the point here. Attacking a candidate over the other is not helpful in any way. That may have worked in the olden days, however it does not work under RCV. Voters are basically “forced” into consolidating behind the candidate with the most votes in order to have a chance at winning. The democrats understand that and that’s why they immediately played their cards, suspending campaigns and leaving the Sitka dweller as the only democrat choice. So, all democrat voters will dutifully vote for that candidate. Conservatives on the other hand, have failed to do that and so they will split their vote, handing the win to the Sitka dweller. That’s just the facts under our current joke of a voting system and if conservatives want a chance to win, there is only one path and that is to unify after the highest vote getter who in this case is Ms Wilson. End of story.
I am not missing the point. I have been looking at Downing’s support of Wilson since way back when (at least, 2017? earlier?). Downing puts out more than a fair share of articles about Wilson that anyone else. Downing has done her fair share of sh*t posting about Bronson on multiple platforms. If Wilson didn’t approve of these posts, don’t you think Downing would have stopped the sh*t posts and concentrated on the real issues at hand?
As for this particular “meme” in this article: The victim card is being played. Does anyone see that? Who throws around the victim card a lot? The left. A man hitting a woman is not okay in many of our books; what a way to stir up some anger against Bronson. Do any of us want a woman in the governor’s seat that is okay with using the victim card to win?
Finally, Wilson was one of the initial three people to get the 2nd RCV Repeal going. Surely, she must know how RCV works right? If she does know, why is she letting Downing keep writing these articles and memes are causing people to be so angry at Bronson that they are vowing not to rank him?
Not ranking all three candidates is going to give us the high probability of having JKT as the next governor. Or, maybe the Republicans have a dirty little secret of how they are going to get Wilson in? I don’t know, but it sure feels like there is some rigging to get a democrat governor, or the win is going to depend on who counts the votes and not how many vote.
I am not taking sides here with any candidates. I am speaking about observations and my conclusions. Our candidates should be focusing on the real topics at hand that are going to keep Alaska going this winter and help us to become successful. All the backstabbing, playing victim games and convincing everyone to just cast one vote instead of ranking is beyond its use life. Just stop already with the blame games Suzanne Downing, Bernadette Wilson, Dave Bronson and Josh Church.
For the record, I’ll be ranking all three teams on the November ballot.
Democrats are good at team ball. Basically they vote for a living and hold jobs that aren’t useful. The Republicans don’t even know what team ball means. Apparently, Republicans think team ball means FOOD FIGHT!
Full contact tackle football, with same team.
I will vote Bronson, then Wilson. Wilson and Taylor supporters ought to rank Bronson 2nd. Suzanne’s dream of having ALL Republican candidates withdraw before the deadline was not going to happen. There has been a deliberate attempt to hide Wilson’s professional and personal baggage. Transparency has not been the strength of her campaign, nor of her supporters. I asked Wilson to help me dispel the rumors and explain it all to me, OFF THE RECORD: not only her personal life, but the business and professional ethical failures that were in that sphere. I was told that she would do so, but COMPLETELY FAILED to follow through. Shall we make THAT a campaign issue? No, but apparently all of Bronson’s personal conversations and local questionnaires (which nobody knew about until Suzanne made it public, and which the very District released him from) have become so. If you are going to be governor, your personal and public background is completely our business. Suzanne applies that to Bronson but, ummmm — not to Wilson. And if you hide it, then we are victims of the rumors. That is a decision that has been deliberately made by Wilson, so any criticism of complaints are utterly illegitimate. Wilson must accept the blame for her reticence. Did she think the Democrats weren’t going to use it? I foresee direct mailings, paid for by the Outside shadows, and targeting not the entire electorate, but the social conservatives, who Dems understand will be put off when it all comes to light. Wilson did not show up to many debates and refused many questionnaires, keeping her campaign to platitudes that we all agree with, but have no substance. Bronson has publicly endorsed Article 3, Section 16, to be used to make RCV non-enforced, challenge abortion funding and restore Grand Jury rights. What has Wilson said about ANY of those three things?
I listened to Bronson say he would do what it takes to ensure a republican is elected when asked if he would bow out if not #1 in primary. Didn’t realize he was playing us and included himself as a republican option to stay in the fray even if not #1.
Jonathon Kreis Tallarico must come out of the basement.
Is JKT going to come forth and tell us how many men or boys he has been having sex with? Hardly think so. Was he previously married to another man? Did he cheat on any of his boyfriends? Did he ever hit a boyfriend or get hit by a boyfriend?
.
Why can’t we ask these questions of a Democrat candidate?
Absolutely RIGHT. I never heard a peep about his homosexuality — until reading these comments. Why is that? Likely because everyone expected Begich to win.
That may be part of it, Bob. But JKT and his Democrat pushers have kept the homosexual element hidden. For a reason …….it would be a deal killer for JKT when the word gets around to the mainstream. After watching the kind of characters that Joe Biden brought onboard his administration, Democrats are buttoning down the LGBTQ issues during the campaign. It will have a damaging effect, especially when straight men, conservatives and Christians get the message. They do not want a little queer man as their governor. Do you?
We have no choice to play the Rank Red. You have to rank. Do not be one of the few thousands who only voted one Republican before exhausting. We need to at least try. though. I’m doubtful a lack of unity in the order of rank position may prove fruitless. But. Either Wilson, Bronson, or English will be better for us non Democrats than Democrats in the Governors office plus having senate and house majorities.
Bernadette won primaries.
I believe that is why we have primaries.
Case closed.
