Oct. 17, 2026 – Mary Peltola has been caught in yet another deception, another attempt to trick voters.

She appeared at a Democracy Alliance conference in New Mexico this spring, according to social media screenshots, while her campaign’s online messaging that same weekend emphasized she was busy withAlaska travel, rural fuel costs, and volunteering at animal shelters.

The photographs place Peltola at a gathering organized by one of the country’s prominent progressive donor networks, offering a glimpse of her connections outside Alaska as she campaigns for the US Senate.

An Instagram post by New Mexico politician Cindy Nava, dated May 9, shows Nava posing with Peltola and Texas Democrat James Talarico. Nava’s caption identifies the Democracy Alliance gathering, and another image in the post shows conference materials carrying the slogan “Resist. Rebuild. Reimagine.”

A separate photograph posted by Michelle Paulene Abeyta’s New Mexico Facebook account shows Peltola with other attendees wearing conference credentials. Another image shows Peltola seated with two other women during an apparent panel discussion.

During that same weekend, Peltola’s account on X was delivering a distinctly Alaska-centered message.

“Small plane. Sled. Ferry. Snowmachine,” began an April 24 post.

“People in the Lower 48 might not understand, but that’s what it takes to get across Alaska, and that’s how I’m meeting folks in every community I can.”

The post ended: “Every village, every voter.”

Another April 24 post promoted an April 25 volunteer event at animal shelters across Alaska.

“This Saturday, we’re volunteering with animal shelters across Alaska to help take care of rescues and their spaces,” the post said, inviting supporters to join.

Other posts addressed rural diesel prices and the cost of filling a gas tank versus putting food on the table.

The animal-shelter invitation used “we’re volunteering” language while photographs from the New Mexico gathering show her participating in an out-of-state political event.

The Democracy Alliance was founded in 2005 and has mobilized more than $2 billion over two decades for progressive causes and institutions.

Its approach reaches beyond any single campaign: The alliance describes its work as influencing upcoming elections while building a lasting base of progressive political power.

InfluenceWatch, a project of the conservative Capital Research Center, describes the alliance’s conferences as invitation-only gatherings connecting wealthy liberal donors with activists, organizations, and political leaders.

While Peltola’s social media account was talking about villages, snowmachines, and local volunteering, the was actually out of state taking part in the progressive donor network.

  1. Pretty much says it all. Bought and paid for. Total sellout. Representing outside democrats, not Alaskans.
    SULLIVAN = YOUR SENATOR
    TRUMP = YOUR PRESIDENT
    PELTOLA = OUTSIDE DEMOCRATS
