Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a high-profile Republican from Georgia, says she will quit Congress on Jan. 5, ending a turbulent tenure marked by an open rift with President Donald Trump.
Greene, first elected in 2020 and sworn in at the beginning of 2021, told her X followers in a recorded video that she will step down. Her announcement comes after several weeks of public friction with Trump, a policy and personal shift, given her longstanding reputation as one of his most loyal defenders on Capitol Hill.

In recent weeks, Greene has broken with the president on issues including the rising cost of healthcare and her support for the release of all documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein files, which Trump has signed off on.
Greene’s departure will open up a reliably conservative House district in northwest Georgia, likely triggering a competitive Republican primary for the seat. Her exit also removes one of the House GOP’s most attention-grabbing figures.
It remains unclear if Greene intends to pursue another political office or step away from electoral politics altogether.
Get elected. Stir up a bunch of sh*t. Quit.

She had her little tantrum, toppled the previous Speaker, with no replacement prepared. Now she pitches a fit about the guy who stepped into the vacuum she caused. They’re rewarding her ego trip that impeded the administration’s agenda at a difficult time by giving her the spotlight on The View. . she feeds on the attention Me!Me! Me!
Marjorie Taylor Greene has become the latest darling of the left, much like Dick Cheney and his daughter for one reason and one reason only. The list of leftists who attended Dick Cheney’s funeral after they swore he was the son of Satan himself is shockingly long.
So fun to watch the MAGA types eat their own. She was basically a spoiled, rich woman who needed a little excitement in her life, but now the thrill is gone and she’ll move onto other things. Watch for a book deal, or a position at Fox News, or Newsmax, or some other thing to keep her in the limelight. But you can see that her personal life is really in tatters, and that she’s really just not a very nice woman. Good riddance.

Tina, read with critical thinking. Greene isn’t accused of anything, she’s just done with the sh** show she created and wants to spend time with her AK 47 and confederate flag. Good riddance. Horrible crap thrower, unintelligent (she referred to a Petri dish as a “peach tree”dish), a constant divisive blight on America. Hope she will be replaced with someone fair and with his/her own original teeth.

As for MTG, perhaps her goal was to fight fire with fire, 🔥, but that is Satan’s playground. Some might argue that is exactly what government is…. That said, a meek* approach might prove more powerful and effective in the long term.
*Meek is strength under control, characterized by humility, gentleness, and self-control. Certain to wring blood from the eyes of those who would hate.
