March 30, 2026 – The early Covid years were a time of lockdowns, school closures, 14-day quarantines for those who tested positive, vaccine passports, and closure of the Alaska-Canadian border to most travelers.
Six cities implemented lockdown procedures that included only the vaxxed could go outdoors, others had to remain home. Vaccine passports were required for restaurant entrance.  And only the vaxxed could attend indoor events at public venues. These were New York City, Boston, Chicago, New Orleans, Washington, DC, and Seattle.
All these rules were to be enforced with a vaccine passport. This was a well laid “plan” that was hoped would spread nationwide.
I was shocked with China’s approach. In 2022, full or district-wide lockdowns were in effect in more than two dozen cities including Hangzhou, home to 12.2 million people; Suzhou with 12.7 million people; and Harbin with 9.5 million people.
At least 74 cities with a combined population of 313 million imposed lockdowns that covered entire cities, districts or multiple neighborhoods. People were confined to their houses or apartments or their neighborhoods.
What I didn’t know was that the CDC had even worse plans for us. on July 26, 2020, the CDC issued a plan for establishing nationwide quarantine camps.
There were several isolation steps in the CDC plan.
Isolation was planned first in the household with the high-risk elderly being given their own space in their home with little if any human contact unless needed.
The next isolation level was swapping household rooms with other neighbors to keep all the high-risk people together.
An even further isolation level was planning for “leper” type camps in community centers.
The CDC discussed how the healthier people in the community center would “care” for the not-so-healthy people. The plan also included contingencies for preventing suicide.
Nowhere in the plan was there an option for legal appeals or even the ability to get legal counsel.
The goal was to reduce the number of severe Covid-19 cases by restricting contact between those deemed high risk of developing severe disease from the general (low risk) population. Somehow this “shielding” would save lives and leave more room for others in hospitals.
This document was finally removed from the CDC web page on or about March 26, 2023. Somehow this plan was able to “live” on the CDC web page for almost three years with little to no public notice or controversy.
The document was called “Interim Operational Considerations for Implementing the Shielding Approach to Prevent COVID-19 Infections in Humanitarian Settings.”
“Fact checkers” debunked the claim that the CDC wanted to put high-risk and elderly into “green” zones or camps. But the article went on to state the components of the plan described above were accurate. The author stated the CDC never “officially” recommended the plan for the American public.
Hmmm….but they still had the plan.
The plan’s existence was enough for a research project to determine if it would have done any good.
The basic premise of the shielding concept was to “quarantine” the high risk and elderly while allowing the rest of the population to be set free from lockdowns.
The findings of the study showed implementing this strategy perfectly would not have been a viable public health strategy for Covid-19 and would be unlikely to be effective for future pandemics.
Here’s hoping no one tries to resurrect this plan in future “plandemics”.  I’m not convinced it couldn’t happen.
When discussing this plan with one of my friends on the other side of the issue, she looked at me and said, “Well they didn’t implement it.”  She was  blinded by the dialogue that all is OK, just because of it was never actually rolled out.
I am more concerned that they even thought of it!

And they call the Republicans ” fascist” “off to Zee Camps!”
Might one respectfully suggest including aggressive implementation of the Second Amendment in the “Interim Operational Considerations”?
