Video: Mary Peltola touts Eskimo ‘non-gendered’ superiority

Feb. 18, 2026 – Democratic US Senate candidate Mary Peltola is drawing attention for remarks emphasizing a “beyond gender” cultural narrative, telling an audience that the Yupik language does not use gendered pronouns.

In a video recorded during a recent meeting, Peltola begins by introducing herself in Yupik before adding:

“Our names are non-gendered. We also do not have pronouns… We are so far ahead of the curve!”

The comments reflect a broader trend among progressive candidates leaning into gender and identity messaging as part of their political appeal, particularly to left-leaning activist and academic circles.

Peltola, a former congresswoman now running statewide for Senate, has increasingly aligned herself with national Democratic themes as she seeks support beyond Alaska. She is running against US Sen. Dan Sullivan.

  1. Good grief. Her ancestors are proverbially rolling in their graves. They didn’t worry about pronouns, they knew the difference between the two sexes. It wasn’t a focus as they had more important things to deal with like surviving. Good grief. The woman (as in female, xx chromosomes) needs a real job.

  2. The squaw.ker from Bethel squeaks again. Why don’t we just refer to her as the lazy dingbat who keeps losing her husbands.
Exiting away from lazy Mary is such sweet happiness. New potential husbands……beware!

  3. Yes, dear Mary, because pronouns are the very first thing any voter for Alaskan office is concerned about. Certainly. That’s the ticket.

  4. Mary Peltola once again is disingenuous at best.
From my reading, native names generally fall into a more descriptive category like Strong Bear, Graceful Doe, Runs with Wolves or Eagle Wing imparting attributes to the person. While technically these could be given to either gender, the prevailing practice shows that boys are generally named after fierce animals or male prowess, while girls names appear to reflect nature, spirituality and domestic aptitude. So it is clear that native tribes delineate between men and women and are just like any group gender driven in the roles the cultures assign to either sex.

  5. ‘It’ is still pandering to the woke psychotics who deny reality while obsessing over their insane and anti-human marxist ideology.’
    .
‘It’ needs to stop trying to politically remora off the butt of Sockeye LIsa, who is swimming down the drain herself. Mayeb ‘it’ can go back to being the captainess of a fishing boat.

  6. Maybe with Peltola finally giving up on her hunt for Husband #6, she’s going Lesbo?
Hunting should now improve in these parts.
