US Sen. Elizabeth Warren is donating more than $400,000 from her campaign war chest to help Democratic Party organizations prepare for the 2026 midterm elections. Alaska is notably not on the list.
Sen. Warren of Massachusetts announced Wednesday that she will distribute the funds to 23 state Democratic parties she described as being central to building campaign infrastructure in competitive races. National political outlets, including Politico and the Washington Examiner, report that recipient states include Maine, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas. All are places where Democrats see plausible paths to flipping congressional seats or defending vulnerable incumbents.
Alaska was not among the recipients, and no public reporting or campaign disclosures suggest that the Alaska Democratic Party received any portion of this funding round.
The omission is notable because Warren, one of the Senate’s most prominent progressive figures and a prolific fundraiser, has in previous election cycles spread her resources more broadly. In 2018, for example, Warren donated to all 50 state Democratic parties. This time, however, her donations are tightly focused on a smaller group of states viewed as electorally competitive in 2026.
The targeted nature of the contribution underscores how national Democratic strategists are triaging resources ahead of the midterms. By limiting donations to 23 states, Warren’s campaign appears to be signaling where party leaders believe investments are most likely to yield returns, and where they are not.
Alaska’s exclusion aligns with recent national race ratings that place the state’s US Senate seat, held by Sen. Dan Sullivan, firmly in the Republican column and show little expectation of a Democratic breakthrough in either chamber of Congress.
While Democrats send out emails that say otherwise, Warren’s decision suggests many operatives do not view Alaska as pivotal to determining control of the House or Senate in the upcoming cycle.
For Alaska Democrats, the absence of Warren’s support is less about the dollar amount and more about the message it sends.

No doubt profited from her office and padded her war chest through political favors. Now she is distributing that money for her own political agenda. Maybe she should spread some of that money to Indian tribes since she stole their identity as her own.
She hasn’t donated to princess yet.. Maybe next cycle
pocahontas
I wouldn’t get too comfortable: Senator Warren is not noted for deep thought — and she has problems understanding her personal history. Just because Lizzy thinks the race isn’t competitive does not mean that it is not. The bigger and MUCH nastier question is what Chuckie Schumer thinks and what he is willing to do. Chuckie will lie, cheat, and steal. Remember Vic Vickers? I wonder if Chuckie and Lisa talk a lot…
I think we have a uniparty here though, this don’t mean were in the clear. Why would the most disliked party push against the grain, why not co-opt what the people wanted and not have to worry about approval as much? Why is the party on with this RCV repeal, but not the prior – please for the love of whatever, can anybody answer this?
We really don’t need any of her money anyway…It’s so??tainted with…. **$$??
Keep an eye on the back flap of Warren’s teepee and you will spot Murky lurking in and out of her big money tent.
Right. Pocahontas has an extra 400 grand to throw around, but yeah, “Eat the Rich” ……. Almost as bad as Bernie “Three Houses” Sanders. Hypocrites and phonies, one and all.
