A new voice for Alaska has arrived. The Alaska Story, launching Nov. 4, 2025, is an unflinching and bold new online news and commentary site dedicated to truth, balance, and honest conversation from a conservative point of view.
Our motto is simple: “Where the conversation happens.” That’s it. Let’s have a conversation.
For too long, the mainstream media has acted as a vehicle for the left, leaving everyday Alaskans and conservatives across the country without a fair hearing.
The Alaska Story is here to change that, with news, analysis, features, and honest conversation rooted in enduring American values: Faith, family, freedom, personal responsibility, small government, bright opportunity, public safety, and strong borders.
These are not extreme ideas. They are the fundamentals that most Americans share, even if you wouldn’t know it from watching the nightly news. If you are a John F. Kennedy-style Democrat, you’ll find a home here. If you’re a MAGA Republican, you can count on us to deliver the straight story.
This platform is more than one writer’s effort; it’s a team of committed Alaska conservatives working hard to give voice to what’s right for our state and country. We’re reporting stories that matter, holding power accountable, and celebrating the independent spirit of the 49th State.

Well here we go. Let’s get this party started. The previous place just isn’t the same anymore.
That explains why I haven’t been able to access the interim site.
The previous site you founded has apparently decided that my commentary isn’t welcome, I tried writing a comment about solar and they did not approve of my fact based dissection and came up with absurd reasons for why they didn’t approve the comment.
Anyways, welcome back to sharing actual informative articles about Alaska, this is a much needed service and has been missing in your absence.
My unfavorable comments on the uneconomic Alaska LNG project were also rejected by MRA, due, I was told, to a new 50-word limit policy. What rubbish. I dare say that SD is about to eat their lunch (while simultaneously walking away a nice pile of their cash). Pretty sure I wouldn’t want to play poker with her.
The 50 word limit policy is clearly subjective, as I was told about it in response to a comment that was approved and well over 50 words. When I pointed out the incongruency (in under 50 words) they shockingly decided not to post that comment. They chose to go down the path of demanding their founder and longtime editor censor her articles to fit their narrative, it’s not surprising they’d censor commentators that don’t align with their opinions.
