Left-wing groups prepare post-election protests and economic pressure, with Alaska a target

Nov. 3, 2026 – Left-leaning organizing groups headed into Tuesday’s midterm elections with plans extending well beyond getting out the vote: There are rapid-response protests, post-election coordination calls, and possible campaigns urging Americans to stay home from work, school, and shopping if organizers conclude the election has been undermined.

Alaska is explicitly included in those preparations. Indivisible lists the state among seven targets of its Battlegrounds program, combining voter turnout with an election-defense operation. Its Alaska section also says local organizers are mobilizing to elect Mary Peltola to the US Senate.

The organization describes its national goal as training 10,000 Election Defense Corps volunteers. That is a recruitment and training objective, rather than a verified count of people already trained.

Indivisible frames the effort around allegations that President Donald Trump and his allies intend to interfere with the midterms. Those allegations are the organization’s stated rationale for mobilizing, rather than evidence that any particular election result has been compromised.

The group’s broader Hands Off Our Vote program includes a rapid-response playbook and scenario planning. Its toolkit directs participants to exercises developed by Freedom Trainers to help local networks prepare for potential election threats.

Indivisible also says its August election-protection trainings helped tens of thousands of people prepare. That participation figure is the organization’s own account.

A parallel effort by May Day Strong puts economic pressure explicitly on the table.

The coalition’s public pledge asks supporters to prepare for protests, recruit businesses and community organizations, and pressure corporations if there is an attempt to sabotage the election.

One commitment reads: “No free and fair elections means ‘No Work No School No Shopping.’”

The pledge presents those tactics as a contingency tied to alleged election sabotage. It also seeks commitments to push an affordability agenda regardless of the results.

May Day Strong has promoted Solidarity Schools to build organizing skills and prepare participants for collective action. In a September essay published by Inequality.org, organizer Neidi Dominguez described the schools as training people to organize others, take nonviolent action, and respond together to threats against their communities.

The No Kings coalition is also recruiting participants and hosts for possible rapid-response demonstrations. Its published principles call for nonviolent action and no civil disobedience.

A national No Kings post-election call is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 8 pm Eastern — 4 pm Alaska time. The event description says that, in the event of election interference or sabotage, organizers will share updates, coordinate strategy, and outline next steps.

Some local groups have already advertised Saturday, Nov. 7, demonstrations. Indivisible Brooklyn, for example, lists a noon march beginning in Times Square, describing it as an opportunity to celebrate democracy and demand that every vote be counted.

Those public announcements do not establish a coordinated nationwide plan to shut down transportation hubs on Nov. 7. The materials reviewed for this article document local demonstrations, conditional mobilization, and potential economic noncooperation, but do not substantiate that broader shutdown claim.

For Alaska, the documented connection is clear: A national organization openly working to elect Peltola has also placed the state inside its election-defense strategy. Whether that preparation leads to post-election demonstrations will depend on subsequent events and organizers’ decisions.

    1. Please don’t block our roads, please don’t burn our cities, please don’t destroy, loot and burn our businesses, please don’t violently assault (or even kill) our public speakers at college campuses, all because we called you out on your obvious cheating on Tuesday. Thanks in advance.

  1. “Left wing groups” AKA paid agitators -just like Damon the Demon above. They have been running around Alaska for months now – paid for by George Soros and your DNC contributions – all working hard to bring the downfall of the United States.
