Linda Boyle: The Covid years are over. The demand for accountability isn’t.

By LINDA BOYLE

Oct. 19, 2026 – Some people tell me the Covid years are over, that I just need to get over it. But I just can’t because we were wronged.

The government and the healthcare industry responded in such an autocratic way.  It gave me a glimpse of what it must be like living in a communist/fascist nation, a place some of our current political candidates want to take us.

Just recently, Sen. Ron Johnson held a Round Table discussion on hospitals and how they reacted during the Covid pandemic.  One of the more sobering stories was of a woman who once they found out she was not vaccinated, the hospital staff basically told her she was going to die.  They refused her request for a visit from her priest to obtain the sacrament of the sick unless she took a dose of Remdesivir.  She submitted to this demand.  After her priest’s visit, she refused any further Remdesivir treatment.  She was repeatedly told by healthcare providers that she was going to die. She refused all sedation, wanting to stay awake and aware of what was happening.

Her husband was forbidden to visit her.  In one instance, the door to the ICU was left open and he walked in. That resulted in a six hour standoff with him and hospital medical staff and security.  They finally let her sign out against medical advice.  As they left the hospital, a nurse told them “Mark my words, she will be dead by tonight.”

She is still alive today. Healthy and able to share her story.

How many others experienced such horrible “care” at the hands of the healthcare profession?  How many people got the vaccine because they believed a government that really lied to them? Fear was used to gain their willingness to submit.

Recently, I’ve seen more good news in people willing to take on Big Pharma.   Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has filed a sweeping lawsuit against Pfizer and its CEO, Albert Bourla, stating they deceived the public about the safety and transmission-prevention capabilities of Pfizer’s COVID-19 mRNA injection.

The 49-page complaint was filed on October 1, 2026, in St. Lucie County, Florida, and targets Pfizer and Bourla personally under Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act.

The complaint opens with a zinger— “Those people are criminals.” That is how Bourla described people who publicly raised safety concerns about Pfizer’s COVID-19 injection.

The main allegation is that Pfizer publicly assured Americans that its Covid shot was safe while the company had internal and external safety information involving myocarditis, miscarriages, strokes, adverse events, and deaths.

Here are the facts from the complaint filed by the State of Florida:

  • – 158,893 adverse events in just 10 weeks after Emergency Use Authorization. . Pfizer’s own database had 158,593 adverse events from 42,086 cases reported February 28, 2021.  Yet in 2023, Bourla stated publicly that “Pfizer had not seen a single [safety] signal” despite billions of doses having been administered.    Doesn’t quite pass the sniff test especially with the information known at that time concerning myocarditis and pericarditis.
  • – 1,223 reported deaths. As of February 28, 2021, the Pfizer database contained 1,223 reported fatalities following vaccination.  The volume of reports was so large Pfizer had to hire 600 more full-time employees and is expected to hire 1,800 more just to process adverse event reports.
  • – Pregnancy and miscarriages. By February 28, 2021, Pfizer had reports involving 458 pregnant women exposed to its COVID vaccine. Of those reports, 248 involved an adverse event and 52 involved miscarriages.   Nearly all of the reported miscarriages occurred during the first trimester.  Pfizer did do a study of pregnant women—never reaching the amount of participants they sought.  The women in the study were 24-34 weeks pregnant—so well past the first trimester where adverse events occurred.
  • – Pfizer pushed transmission claims without testing transmission. You remember the mantra.  “Get vaccinated to protect others—especially our elderly.  By getting everyone vaxxed was the best course of action to prevent the spread of C0vid-19.”  But according to the complaint, Pfizer’s pivotal clinical trial did not test whether vaccination prevented person-to-person transmission. The FDA  stated in December, 2020 that there was no evidence at that time that the vaccine prevented SARS-CoV-2 transmission from one person to another, and transmission was not an objective of Pfizer’s trial protocol.  Pfizer later acknowledged no testing to assert this statement had been made prior to the vax entering the market.  Florida alleges that Pfizer nevertheless used this ploy to get shots in arms with no data to support that.
  • – More than $80 BILLION in COVID vaccine revenue. Pfizer turned approximately $1.5 billion in research and development spending into more than $80 billion in COVID vaccine revenue.  Pfizer was able to capture about 70% of the US and European markets.  And CEO Bourla?  He received approximately $101.8 million in compensation from Pfizer between 2020 and 2023.  Florida maintains Pfizer engaged in broader unfair business practices to dominate the Covid vaccine market.
  • – Florida wants the money back. The Florida Attorney General is asking the court for “civil penalties, a permanent injunction against deceptive or unfair representations concerning Pfizer’s Covid vaccine, attorneys’ fees and other relief.  Most significantly, Florida is also seeking disgorgement—legal language meaning Pfizer could be forced to hand back profits connected to the Covid vax.  Lastly, Florida wants to hold Pfizer and Bourla accountable by at least some degree for their gross deception.  For years, Pfizer provided false safety and transmission claims that helped drive mass vaccine uptake.  Now those fraudulent claims are headed to court.

Florida is not suing for individual vaccine injuries or bringing federal claims.  Instead, it argues that Pfizer violated its state consumer-protection law by withholding material information while aggressively marketing its product.

We can expect to see many of the documents/research hidden by Pfizer during the initial discovery phase of the trial.  Will Pfizer reveal the documentation, or has it been shredded already?

Depending on the outcome of this case, other states may also join in to sue Pfizer and other Big Pharma companies.

  1. My wife and I experienced something similar here at Juneau’s Bartlett Regional Hospital. I was working on a ship in Prince William Sound when I got a call from my daughter that my wife was in the hospital with covid. I flew home right away out of Cordova and tried to visit her, but to no avail. While in there, she refused the remdesivir and intubated oxygen. She is a real pistol, and told them “Not over my dead body!” A nurse snarkily told her that that was what would happen to her if she wouldn’t take it. Meanwhile, she was demanding ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and heavy doses of vitamin C-but they refused her. Finally, I managed to smuggle in some HCQ and vita C in a small package of “snacks” which got through, and her condition began to improve dramatically and we insisted that they release her-and, they did. We have friends, a one time married couple who hadn’t educated themselves on this stuff, and her husband, an Iraq War veteran whose lungs had already been damaged by the burn piles there, died after being hospitalized and given the rendesivir and was intubated. He was a dear friend and an American Hero. And now he’s gone after being what I consider murdered. I’m so thankful that we’d done our homework which started with-“Don’t trust the government! It’s a SCAM!” And also, we trusted God to see us through. But I mean man, it was like they were trying to kill her!
