Peltola pictured at progressive donor gathering in New Mexico while her campaign posts focused on Alaska

Oct. 17, 2026 – Mary Peltola has been caught in yet another deception, another attempt to trick voters.

She appeared at a Democracy Alliance conference in New Mexico this spring, according to social media screenshots, while her campaign’s online messaging that same weekend emphasized she was busy withAlaska travel, rural fuel costs, and volunteering at animal shelters.

The photographs place Peltola at a gathering organized by one of the country’s prominent progressive donor networks, offering a glimpse of her connections outside Alaska as she campaigns for the US Senate.

An Instagram post by New Mexico politician Cindy Nava, dated May 9, shows Nava posing with Peltola and Texas Democrat James Talarico. Nava’s caption identifies the Democracy Alliance gathering, and another image in the post shows conference materials carrying the slogan “Resist. Rebuild. Reimagine.”

A separate photograph posted by Michelle Paulene Abeyta’s New Mexico Facebook account shows Peltola with other attendees wearing conference credentials. Another image shows Peltola seated with two other women during an apparent panel discussion.

During that same weekend, Peltola’s account on X was delivering a distinctly Alaska-centered message.

“Small plane. Sled. Ferry. Snowmachine,” began an April 24 post.

“People in the Lower 48 might not understand, but that’s what it takes to get across Alaska, and that’s how I’m meeting folks in every community I can.”

The post ended: “Every village, every voter.”

Another April 24 post promoted an April 25 volunteer event at animal shelters across Alaska.

“This Saturday, we’re volunteering with animal shelters across Alaska to help take care of rescues and their spaces,” the post said, inviting supporters to join.

Other posts addressed rural diesel prices and the cost of filling a gas tank versus putting food on the table.

The animal-shelter invitation used “we’re volunteering” language while photographs from the New Mexico gathering show her participating in an out-of-state political event.

The Democracy Alliance was founded in 2005 and has mobilized more than $2 billion over two decades for progressive causes and institutions.

Its approach reaches beyond any single campaign: The alliance describes its work as influencing upcoming elections while building a lasting base of progressive political power.

InfluenceWatch, a project of the conservative Capital Research Center, describes the alliance’s conferences as invitation-only gatherings connecting wealthy liberal donors with activists, organizations, and political leaders.

While Peltola’s social media account was talking about villages, snowmachines, and local volunteering, the was actually out of state taking part in the progressive donor network.

  1. Pretty much says it all. Bought and paid for. Total sellout. Representing outside democrats, not Alaskans.
    SULLIVAN = YOUR SENATOR
    TRUMP = YOUR PRESIDENT
    PELTOLA = OUTSIDE DEMOCRATS

  2. Assuming Downing’s report isn’t spoiled by her obvious jealousy of better looking Mary Peltola, the proper response is “so what”. Can’t Mary be in Alaska and at a different date be in Arizona?

    1. Except that evidently she is portraying being in Alaska and hiding where she really is.in ongoing effort to fool voters. It’s deception. Another ‘means justified by the desired end’ tactic of the left.

    2. LOL. If Evan doesn’t like Downing, why does he spend the better part of his day at her site, Alaska Story? Suzanne looks like a younger version of Jane Fonda, with her do. Peltola…….looks like an old grandma that spent too many winters holed-up in Camp Siwash, eating old, stale, dried-up fish sticks.

  3. Sullivan is a cowardly lamprey eel stuck to Trump’s butt. He has never denounced Trump’s incompetence and corruption. Trump has sunk America and Sullivan was at the anchor. SULLIVAN=TRUMP. TRUMP= POISON. NOVEMBER = PELTOLA

    1. What exactly is the incompetence and corruption? Truly, you can’t just throw your vitriol and delusion around without some clear verifiable facts. Please enlighten us.

      1. Elizabeth, c’mon. Please tell me you are not at stage four Trump cult cancer. I sure hope not. But if you are asking me a serious question about my claim that Trump is incompetent and corrupt, like you are truly double dog sober, well, dang, Ms Henry, there’s nothing more that can be done to save your mind. Facts, evidence, logic, rational thinking, reason and gut feelings are available to you but somehow you’ve been resistant to their curative properties. On behalf of all of us at the Alaska Story, I wish you well.

          1. And you won’t, not from progressive DSA liberals, always skirting the real questions/issues presented them and try to steer the answer from another area that has nothing at all to do with the original intent/question.

    2. Sorry Evan. Your pathetic juvenile equations are meaningless to everyone except yourself and maybe the other troll Damon. Peltola is a seriously flawed low IQ candidate that does not represent the majority of voters in Alaska. No matter how much you wish for it, Peltola will never become a US Senator, not this cycle or any future cycle.

      1. Jb. I agree with you that Peltola is not a dream candidate, but she isn’t a nightmare like hand out Sullivan.

        SULLIVAN=TRUMP. TRUMP=POISON. NOVEMBER =PELTOLA

    3. So now when Trump is reversing sanctions on Russia why doesn’t Sullivan step in and say you can’t be doing that Donald? This is the legacy of Lyndsey Graham that Trump is destroying. Why can’t Sullivan demand any decency out of Trump? Certainly Alaska should vote like Trump is on the ballot. Remember that when you buy your groceries this week and fill your fuel oil tanks for heating your home. Maybe a cabinet full of billionaires isn’t going to be empathetic to the everyday costs of having a family in Alaska. How many families are going to have to choose between keeping their kids bedrooms warm or feeding them?

  4. As far as ” better looking Peltola” goes, I can only add de gustibus non disputandum,Evan. Get your eyes examined.and your mind ,as well
