President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran early Tuesday, posting on his Truth Social platform that the country’s “whole civilization will die tonight” unless a dramatic shift occurs.
“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” Trump wrote. “However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?”
He added that the coming hours could mark “one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World,” and referenced what he described as “47 years of extortion, corruption, and death” coming to an end. “God Bless the Great People of Iran!” he concluded.
Trump’s post appeared to follow a warning he issued Sunday suggesting Tuesday would serve as a deadline for Iran to make a deal. In that earlier statement, he referenced potential strikes on infrastructure and warned of severe consequences if Iran did not comply.
At roughly the same time as Trump’s Tuesday post, unconfirmed reports circulated online claiming US strikes targeting Kharg Island, a heavily fortified Iranian oil export hub in the Persian Gulf that plays a central role in Iran’s petroleum economy. Any disruption to operations at the island would represent a significant pressure point on Tehran, as the majority of Iran’s crude exports flow through the facility.
Trump’s Sunday statement hinted at potential attacks on bridges and power plants, leading some observers to speculate that any reported strikes on Kharg Island could represent a shift in targeting strategy. The administration has not publicly confirmed any military action, and the Pentagon has not issued an official statement.

After more then a decade of support, I publicly rebuke President Trump. This is not who we are as Americans. We do not threaten to destroy civilizations or brag about committing war crimes. We do not kill for other nations or commit war on others for them. We do not blaspheme our Lord Jesus Christ on Resurrection Day with profanity and false idol worship. We do not betray our coalition and place us in danger of the marxists taking power.
The marxists are a real and existential threat and yet, neocons, zionists and MIGA, would rather commit war then fight for the renewal of our country. I will never for for any rino or neocon again. You will be expelled from America First. I call on Dan Sullivan to rebuke this war. If you do not sir, you are toast in November. And then, if this terrible thing comes to pass and a marxists takes your seat, shame on you for not having courage to speak up and stand up against evil. I wonder if Iran being so pushed back if our Jesus return is being a delayed a little longer (not sooner) because Iran was very close to having nuclear weapons that would literally wipe out entire countries. And, Iran with other countries play a critical role in revelation when they come against Isreal, and there is no one (not even America if it exists) will come to the aid of Isreal. Isreal have no one to call out to but God to save them. Revelation says.
Well this war significantly sets Iran’s and their little evil group’s plan back and of course.
Iran is not an innocent nation, their current regime had committed horrific crimes and atrocities not only against the world but also even worse to their own people. Now they again so how little they care for Persians by soliciting them to become human shields around their electric and energy power facilities. Iran knows they need to make a deal and their arrogance, ignorance, and pride is stalling and stonewalling like they have always done.
what one problem is with church goers is the problem with anyone staying inside one group they get all news from how one group thinks or how they should think or only hear what gets filtered through into their group
The world and its history is a lot bigger than the world you are living if you were to know anything you be praying instead for the underground Iranian Church (the million or more believers in Christ) pray for their strength to endure, to hold fast to their faith, and pray more Iranians come to find saving grace and salvation in Jesus Christ to which Iran persecutes the Church even more brutal than the Chinese communist government against Chinese Christians and other religious groups.
Micah, I was going to also post a comment here condemning this unnecessary, unethical and criminal war against Iran that is manifestly NOT in our national interest, and merely reflective of the control that the rogue state of Israel continues to exert over US national politics and foreign policy, but you said it all better than I would have, and more. The title of the article is deceiving and takes the statement out of context. The actual statement “A WHOLE civilization will die tonight” is an entirely different meaning than “Whole civilization will die tonight.” Then to further understand the statement one needs to read the rest of the context which isn’t in the article. Good grief.
There were plenty of fools flying Iranian flags in support of the horrible regime long before this title hit the world wide web and there will be fools trying to defend their killing and murdering tactics until the end of time. I agree it does add fuel to a fire out of control long before but no one can fix “stupid”.
