Trump heads to Israel

President Donald Trump is scheduled to arrive in Israel on Monday morning for a brief yet high-profile visit celebrating the recent hostage-release agreement and partial Gaza truce.

According to the itinerary, Trump will land at Ben Gurion Airport around 9:20 am local time, where he will receive an official welcome before addressing the Knesset (Israel’s parliament). He is also expected to meet with families of freed hostages.

The visit will last less than four hours before Trump departs for Egypt.

The trip highlights progress in a deal brokered with US involvement that led to Hamas’s release of several living hostages and the return of remains, as well as Israel’s partial withdrawal from Gaza and the release of nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. About 20 hostages are still believed to be alive out of 47 previously held.

Trump has described the agreement as a “great deal for everybody,” framing it as a step toward broader Middle East peace.

Following his stop in Israel, Trump will travel to Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, for a “peace summit” co-chaired with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi. The summit is expected to draw world leaders to discuss the next phase of regional stabilization efforts.

The timing of the visit coincides with the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah and the Hebrew calendar anniversary of the October 2023 attacks that ignited the latest conflict.

This marks Trump’s first international trip of his second term and comes as the US faces domestic turbulence, including an ongoing government shutdown. Democrats have used the trip to criticize him for traveling during the shutdown, as they are evidently preferring bloodshed to peace, and preferred ongoing conflict to any victory for Trump.

Israeli officials and families of freed hostages have praised his role in the negotiations.

  1. During the “peace” time it’ll give Hamas or Hezbollah or Iran the time to can build up or rebuild Gaza again for a future attack against Isreal

Don’t be deceived there be long term forever peace between Gaza and Isreal, their voices have made it very clear they will not be satisfied until there no Isreal state
I think their hate is just showing the Devils fear knowing that now Isreal is a state he really doesn’t have much time before getting locked away for a 1000 years (though Gazans don’t know they are manifesting the devils hate and fear and saying they want to get rid of Isreal)

  2. Of course Trump goes to Israel.
He has to pay homage to his (and our) masters.

And before you jump down my throat accusing me of so-called “antisemitism”, it is a fact that more and more Americans are becoming aware of, and opposing, the bizarre and insidious influence that the state of Israel exercises over US politics and foreign policy. Whine and shriek all you want about it, but your pro-Zionist dual loyalty politicians, and policies, are rapidly being consigned to the dustbin of history, and good riddance, too.

    1. It’s an undeniable fact that antisemitism is on the rise in America and in the rest of the world, largely among people who fall on the left side of the political spectrum. It’s fitting because historically the political left has been the home of racists and antisemites look no further than the Democrats of the Antebellum South through to modern times, Nazi’s (including neo-Nazi’s) and other Facists, along with Communists and Socialists all over the world who are consumed by hatred of others simply because they are different.

When people side with American politicians who are known antisemites and Hamas apologists like Ilhan Omar, Zohran Mamdani, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Elizabeth Warren, and Rashida Tlaib it’s not to hard to see which side of the political spectrum these people belong to. The same thing goes worldwide, those on the left largely aren’t hiding their antisemitism.

      1. Steve, you are predictable in your arrogant bluster as the sunrise. But damn, man, give it up already.

It is a simple fact that more and more Americans, from ALL political persuasions, are opening their eyes to, and rejecting, the pernicious and perverse hold that zionists both within the USA and within Israel have on the US political scene. You can hysterically try to deny that all you want, but your specious denials do not change the reality of the situation.

Like Trump CLAIMED to be, I am “America First”, NOT “Isreal First”, or “America and Israel First”. You may not be aware of this, but Isreal is not a (official) part of the United States. So we Americans should treat that foreign nation no differently than we do any others. If YOU want to fight so badly for them, why don’t YOU go ahead and do that yourself. I, and a growing number of other REAL Americans, am sick to death of you zionist traitors and fifth columnists subverting the US government and taxpayers to your own ends.

        1. Jeff,
As always, your hatred shines through. You read things that are not there because hate is all you can see. You claim things that are not true because your hatred guides you. One day I hope you can find peace and let go of your hate.
