Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Crum is calling on former Alaska Attorney General Treg Taylor to immediately cancel an upcoming Washington, DC fundraiser that aligns Taylor with anti-Trump Republicans.
The event, first reported by The Alaska Story, lists former US Attorneys General Jeff Sessions and Bill Barr among its co-hosts — both of whom have publicly criticized President Donald Trump and declined to support his 2024 campaign.
Crum said the fundraiser proves Taylor is “showing his true colors.”
“If you are willing to sit at the table with anti-Trump Republicans, you are sending a loud and clear message: you’re anti-Trump too,” Crum said.
Crum praised Trump’s record in Alaska, pointing to his support for oil and gas development, investment, and job creation. He accused Taylor of “hobnobbing with people who opposed President Trump when it counted.”
“By participating in this event, Taylor is showing his true colors as part of the anti-Trump wing, rather than a defender of all that is good for Alaska,” Crum said. “If you raise money with the anti-Trump crowd, you’re not a Trump ally, you’re a fraud.”
Crum urged Taylor to cancel the D.C. fundraiser, saying Alaskans deserve leaders who fully support the America First agenda.
“The time to show where you stand is now,” Crum said. “Cancel the party with people who worked against Trump. Stand with our President who is doing so much for Alaska or get out of the way.”
Crum added that his own campaign will continue to align with Trump’s energy, economic, and border priorities.
“I stand with President Trump and the America First agenda, because that is Alaska First,” he said. “While Treg Taylor is busy cozying up to the anti-Trump crowd, I’m going to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with President Trump and all that he’s doing to fight for our country. We’re not going back to business as usual.”

Thank you Suzanne, for reporting this.
I admittedly didn’t know enough about either of these two, to know which one to support.
This article of yours makes the choice very very plain, and easy to choose.
If one is anti Trump, then you’re anti Alaska, and we should have nothing to do with you as a candidate…
Taylor won’t make the top 4, unless he secures the libtard vote. Speaking of which, who have the Demon Rats put on the ballot?
Trump’s approval rating has never been lower, even lower than after he tried to murder his own vice president and overturn the constitution. Republicans are realizing that he is an election liability. They will soon trot out some ambiguous weasel words to distance themselves a teeny bit. That pre-indicted candidate Crum is all woozy over a deeply corrupt, winner of 34 felonies and likely child abuser tells us all we need to know about him.
I’m not a fan of either of these two Candidates, Crum has His own cross to bear for some of the things He has done!
