Dave Bronson’s campaign for governor is reporting a strong start out of the gate, announcing it raised more than $217,000 in its first three months.

The Bronson for Governor campaign said the fundraising total covers its first 90 days after filing initial paperwork in late September. According to its most recent Alaska Public Offices Commission report, the campaign received contributions from 393 individual donors, with 95% of donations coming from Alaska residents.

His campaign said the early numbers are a sign of grassroots enthusiasm for Bronson’s message of fiscal restraint, government accountability, and support for resource development.

“Alaskans are the heart of this campaign,” Bronson said in a statement. “Their trust, reflected in every donation, fuels our mission to build a stronger economy and an accountable future for Alaska.”

The campaign reported donations coming from across the state, led by Anchorage at 46%, followed by the Mat-Su Valley at 24%, the Interior at 12%, and the Kenai Peninsula and Southeast Alaska combined at 13%.

His expenditures were about $87,000.

The fundraising update comes as candidates prepare for the next major disclosure deadline on Feb. 17, when year-start campaign finance reports will provide a clearer picture of which campaigns are gaining traction in an increasingly crowded 2026 governor’s race that currently includes 16 candidates. The deadline is Tuesday at midnight.
