Alaska Democratic congressional candidate Matt Schultz, who is running against Republican Congressman Nick Begich, is getting down and dirty, publishing a Facebook post that accuses the president of “raping children” and portraying federal law enforcement officers as murderers.
Schultz’s post, written in highly charged language, made his campaign about a fight against political hopelessness and voter disengagement. He argued that Americans must reject what he called “halfway” measures and instead confront what he described as a defining moment in history.
“More people didn’t vote than voted for Harris or Trump,” Schultz wrote. “I’m running against the hopelessness that makes people think that voting doesn’t matter; to inspire people to fight for a better tomorrow.”
While his statement is true, it’s not in context. In 2024, 89 million registered voters did not vote, 77 million voted for Donald Trump, and 75 million voted for Kamala Harris. But his statement lacks context. When comparing non-voters to the total number of people who voted (for any candidate), the opposite is true: Total voters outnumbered non-voters. It’s also true that there are a lot of people on voter rolls who are either dead or otherwise ineligible to vote.
He continued with a series of savage rhetorical questions aimed at motivating his far-left supporters, accusing various institutions and groups of extreme wrongdoing.
“When ICE agents murdered people in the streets: Where did you stand?” Schultz wrote. “When billionaires stole their future: Where did you stand? When fascists stole their voting rights: Where did you stand? When corporations raped their environment: Where did you stand?”
And finally the kicker: “When the president of the United States raped children: Where did you stand?”

Schultz did not provide evidence for the accusation against the president, nor did he identify any specific case or allegation supporting such a claim. He’s repeating things he has seen on social media or in leftist news sites.
Accusing federal officers of murder without court findings and accusing a sitting president of raping children are extraordinary claims that would normally require substantiation. Claiming the president rapes children is enough to draw a defamation lawsuit from Trump.
But Schultz’ Facebook post is the kind of toxic language that risks alienating the very Alaskans he says he wants to engage with and who he wants to see voting. Notably, he seems to have had no opinion on the inappropriate behavior of former President Joe Biden toward female children.
As the election season moves forward, Schultz’s remarks are likely to remain a point of contention in the race against Congressman Begich, and it could raise questions about judgment, credibility, and the escalating rhetoric of the Democrats.

The candidate is a nut job. Someone that imbalanced and deluded really should not be on the ballot.
Sadly, he would probably be elected in a landslide in Constant’s or Felix’s districts.
He lives in Bayshore. That discovery brought me back to the question I had in the first place. No answer to that question, as I tried a number of times to find First Presbyterian’s 990 form to no avail. You see, overwhelmingly, social justice warriors fare far better financially than the people they advocate for, and intend to keep it that way.
Well he can always say that he was talking about Bill Clinton (who is not going to take kindly to that either). This whole Epstein debacle and the demand for “releasing the files” seems interestingly timed and solely carried out to have distraction and performance art with unproven innuendo and slander. If they had a “smoking gun” Biden/Harris would have released that the minute Trump announced his second run, yet we got crickets all four years. Nobody back then cared about the victims…. They all cared about covering it up.
Mr. Schultz clearly proves here that he does not have the temperament nor the wisdom for the position he is vying for. We do not need another demagogue the likes of AOC or Hakeem Jefferies, but a rational lawmaker actually focused on the job.
Good communication Suzanne.
This candidate displays the results of living in an echochamber. He in no way wants to unite and bring people together, he has shown here that throwing gasoline on a fire is his goal. Well thoughtout and reasoned dialog is not a part of his political campaign.
“……..publishing a Facebook post that accuses the president of “raping children”………”
LOL! I hope Trump drags his dumb ass through a civil lawsuit all through the campaign.
I’ve said it before. These utterly sick people infest every corner of society, like roaches infesting a building. Schultz is NOT a Christian. He is a phony. He is a liar. He is a hypocrite. They all are. Always.
It is not yet proven that trump fucked little girls. But what do you think, yes or no, did he? Given all that we know about Trump, I think it is quite likely that he did.
Evan,
You seem like a religious guy in the ilk of the good reverend Shultz, what do you make of the bearing false witness commandment? I guess from your comment here you must be a follower of the good reverend and believe the same way as he does and you both simply disregard it when it is politically expedient.
I voiced an opinion. Didn’t claim anything. What do you think Steve-O, did Trump rape little girls?
You didn’t claim anything? You might want to look up the definition of the word, because you very much made a claim. Making a claim and voicing an opinion are not mutually exclusive. Do either you or the good reverend have any proof to support your claims or are you just repeating echochamber led leftwing talking points (the aforementioned bearing false witness)?
Here’s what I said: “ I think it is quite likely that he did” [fuck little girls]. That’s an opinion, son. But do YOU think Trump did? Back in the day, would you have let him date your daughter?
Let me help you since you seem to be struggling with understanding words.
Claim/
verb:
state or assert that something is the case, typically without providing evidence or proof.
Claim/
noun:
an assertion of the truth of something, typically one that is disputed or in doubt.
Once again making a claim and voicing an opinion are not mutually exclusive, that means you can make a claim at the same time as stating an opinion (and you are very clearly making a claim). Do you or the good reverend have anything to support your claim, do you or the good reverend have anything to support your opinion? If you so desperately want others to believe your claim then any prudent person would ask for proof of some type, if you don’t have any then the question about repeating echochamber led leftwing talking points and the bearing false witness are asked and answered.
Mr. Schultz better start building up a defense fund because President Trump loves to sue people who defame him.
This bozo is clearly not suited for public office and I would like to think has squarely shot himself in both feet. Trump has a track record of successful lawsuits and I would love to see him take this clown to the cleaners!
Steve-O. You’re overly hung up on the definition you’ve chosen. If I said to the world that Steve-O owns a 2005 Ford F-150, that would be a claim and I could presumably offer proof. But if I said I THINK Steve-O owns a 2005 Ford F-150, that introduces uncertainty, like I could be wrong, like I don’t have all the information I need to make my opinion a claim.
I hope you’ll answer my question with your opinion: do YOU think Trump fucked little girls? And I don’t give a shit about the reverend’s beliefs or your bible-based accusation of false witness.
Dictionaries define words, I don’t.
I’m sorry that you do not accept the definition of words and that words having meanings is something that you refuse to accept, language is tough for some. It only shows that you are incapable of supporting your viewpoint in any way shape or form.
In my opinion you haven’t given anyone a reason to answer your question, until you do I wouldn’t expect a response. As the saying goes extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. I’ve asked you repeatedly for any proof whatsoever and you haven’t even offered a single shred to support your claim…not a single one from any source, extraordinary or otherwise.
