Oct. 13, 2026 — President Donald Trump boarded Marine One at 11:43 am Eastern time Tuesday — 7:43 am in Alaska — beginning his trip to Wasilla to campaign for Sen. Dan Sullivan.
Before boarding, Trump spent several minutes answering reporters’ questions outside the White House. The topics ranged from Ukraine and Russia to the Houthis, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan.
Not a single question was about Alaska.
Trump brought up the destination himself, saying he was heading to Alaska to help Sullivan, whom he praised as a good senator. He acknowledged the distance and the demands of his campaign schedule, which has him holding a rally a day.
The president said enthusiasm was rising, including beyond the places where he is holding rallies.

Alaska also figured in new White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia’s first briefing Tuesday morning.
She ended her first briefing by pointing reporters toward Trump’s departure: “President Trump is heading out to Marine One for our historic trip to Alaska.”
In Wasilla, Trump will deliver remarks to shore up the Republicans before continuing to Las Vegas in his tireless journey across the country in advance of the November election.

At 80 years old, Trump is an extremely impressive man of great stamina, mental acuity, and stature. He’s literally indefatigable. Much of this is attributable to his positive attitude and how he views his country. His “can do, can win,” approach to leadership is key to his success. This is a man who will leave an indelible mark not just in this country, but in human history. His detractors will be long gone and forgotten, while historians will be writing and talking about him 200 years from now. I’m proud to be heading to Wasilla to meet this man today. My office is closed for the day, but I will assume regular hours and be back to treating my patients tomorrow.

Shout out to President Trump for having the courage to hire a Press Secretary with a learning disability. Somehow she was able to get a law degree. Incredible press conference by Katie Zacharia! God bless her!
Damon, go see Dr. Dan in the morning. You’ll feel better.
